So far I've learned a lot at Project MAST at Jackson State University. I've had a lot of fun and will be taking so many activities back to my classroom. First of all, a highlight of the experience so far would be Dr. Hunt's session. His energy and motivation in his teaching have kept me motivated to learn as much as I could with him. I especially enjoyed the discussions and activities relating to Newton's laws. The flying eggs experiment will stay with me indefinitely. I will use that activity in my classroom. All of his "grabbers" will be just that with my students as they were with me, they will grab their attention and give them the thirst for more science knowledge. If I had to list things that didn't work as well for me I think it would be some of the LabQuest sessions. It wouldn't be because of the labquest, or even the instructor, but more for the fact that a lot of it was repetitive. Plus I feel like I could experiment with the product itself and learn much of the information that was presented to me. I understand that some people need more instruction in those types of things, it just wasn't as effective for me personally.  I will certainly enjoy using the actual LabQuest and the accompanying probes in my classroom with my students. Overall, I am having a fun, educational experience that I can't wait to implement in my classroom.
